Legal Defense Fund

Journalists, media workers, and media organisations who are at legal risk because of their profession, can request non-structural support from Free Press Unlimited’s Legal Defense Fund. This includes public or impact litigation grants.

Lifeline Embattled CSO Assistance Fund

The Lifeline Embattled CSO Assistance Fund provides emergency financial assistance to civil society organizations (CSOs) under threat or attack and rapid response advocacy and resiliency grants to support CSOs in responding to broader threats against civic space. Advocacy grants are provided by four international civil society organisations Lifeline supports a variety of human rights CSOs, including human rights organizations, journalist associations, student groups, labor unions, think tanks, and others.
