In light of prolonged conflict in Sudan and South Sudan, this report discusses the current situation for women between the border regions and gender norms regarding information access. This product has been the result of a research internship between UCM and Free Press Unlimited (FPU). Radio Dabanga and Radio Tamazuj are two radio stations operating from the FPU office to facilitate and manage their broadcasts. In honor of the work of Radio Tamazuj and Radio Dabanga, this report aims to contribute by providing further insight into the needs of Sudanese and South Sudanese women that they can better serve on a daily basis.
