Winning the war on state-sponsored propaganda – Gains in the ability to detect disinformation a year and a half after completing a Ukrainian news media literacy program

This is an impact evaluation of a media literacy programme piloted by IREX in Ukraine between 2015-2017. It explains the method and demonstrates the effectiveness of its intervention: the group who participated had a significantly higher ability to detect and criticize fake news as compared to the control group.
