WADADA News for Kids audience survey: Free Press Unlimited

WADADA News for Kids network has been operating in 16 countries for the past 11 years. This quantitative audience survey assesses the reach and impact of the WADADA network in 12 of the 16 countries where the news for kids bulletins were set up.

The acquired data gives new insights about the target group, from which the distribution of the news for kids programmes can be improved and better tailored to the target group.

Based on the results of this study, it can be argued that children in all WADADA News for Kids countries who watch the WADADA News for Kids bulletin become, in some form, more informed and feel engaged with and empowered by the news bulletins. This study demonstrates how important it is to have kids news, in order to inform and engage children and youth worldwide.
